Launching RENUE

RENUE was an idea that came about more than a year ago over wine. 


Why aren’t there sustainable underwear brands that look good and do good?


After much research, we decided there wasn’t anything that ticked all the boxes for us….… vegan friendly, non-wired, comfortable designs without sacrificing sexy style.


We knew we could do better. So we took a pledge to only create a brand that would reduce our impact, reuse resources efficiently and recycle our products back into the system.


We wanted these values to be the cornerstone of our business and to dictate our decisions, from the fabrics we use to the factory we worked with, to the packaging we delivered.  


Whilst our design inspiration came from comfy boyfriend shapes and everyday basics, our mood boards filled up with effortlessly chic French lifestyle imagery, and we realised we could combine ultimate comfort with effortless design to create the perfect underwear for all women. 


That’s where the name came from. 




[Re-new] verb


RE: latin for repeat. The very essence of the brand being circular. 


NUE: French for naked. Because, let’s face it, the french know how to do naked well.
