A more thoughtful way to create sustainable underwear
For Earth Day this year, we’re highlighting how RENUE approaches sustainability in a considered, ongoing way.
At RENUE, sustainability isn’t a seasonal campaign - it’s built into every decision we make, from the fabrics we choose to how your order arrives at your door. As a sustainable underwear and loungewear brand, we’re committed to creating pieces that feel good, last longer, and tread more lightly on the planet.
Responsible fabrics: TENCEL™ and Modal fibres
We use responsibly sourced, non-toxic TENCEL™ and Modal fibres, made from renewable wood pulp.
These eco-friendly fabrics are chosen for more than just their softness. They are:
- Breathable and lightweight
- Gentle on the skin
- Lower impact alternatives to conventional textiles
By prioritising sustainable fabrics like TENCEL™ Modal, we’re able to create underwear and loungewear that balances comfort, quality, and environmental responsibility.
Small-batch production to reduce waste
Overproduction is one of the biggest challenges in fashion.
That’s why we produce in small batches. This approach helps us:
- Reduce textile waste
- Avoid unnecessary overstock
- Encourage more mindful, slow fashion consumption
It also means every RENUE piece is intentionally made not mass-produced.
Plastic-free, recyclable packaging
Sustainability doesn’t stop at the product.
Our packaging is:
- 100% plastic-free
- Fully recyclable
- Designed with biodegradable elements, from garment bags to parcel tape
We believe sustainable fashion packaging should be as considered as the clothing itself.
Timeless design over trend-led fashion
RENUE designs timeless underwear and loungewear made to be worn often, loved deeply, and kept in rotation.
Instead of chasing fast-changing trends, we focus on:
- Minimal, versatile silhouettes
- Long-lasting quality
- Everyday comfort and wearability
The goal is simple: fewer, better pieces that stay in your wardrobe longer.
Sustainability is a journey, not a destination
We know sustainability in fashion is never finished.
It’s a process of constant learning, questioning, and improving. As we grow, we continue to look at how we can make better, more responsible choices - from materials to manufacturing to packaging.
We’re not perfect. But we are committed.
Because at RENUE, we believe sustainable fashion shouldn’t be a trend, it should be the standard.
